The Development of a Data Processing, Archiving and Distribution Sub-system for the Ground Receiving Station of the Philippine Scientific Earth Observation Microsatellite  (PHL-Microsat: DPAD) is a DOST funded R&D project implemented by UP TCAGP. It is part of the PHL-Microsat Program which aims to develop and utilize the Philippine’s first microsatellite.  The project has an opening for:

Hired Project Development Officer I is expected to:

  • Get familiarized with the process workflows, procedures, schedules, timelines and targets of the project;
  • Communicate with partner institutions with regards to the following but are not limited to: setting meetings and assisting in the retrieval of documents related to the project;
  • Perform duties such as word processing, filing, answering phone calls and other clerical works for the project;
  • Provide housekeeping, reproduction, messengerial and other related services to the project;
  • Assist the Project Leader and Research Associates in performing administrative tasks;
  • Follow-up all pending vouchers, payment of salaries, honoraria and other financial documents within or outside of the University;

Minimum Requirements:

  • College Degree holder
  • Excellent organization and communication skills in English
  • Detail-oriented, trustworthy, reliable team player and can work under pressure
