    PhilGEOS 2013 will be held at the National Institute of Physics (NIP  New Building), C.P. Garcia Avenue, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.

    Ways of Getting to the Venue

    By Car or By Taxi (directions by Google Map; you need to enter your point of origin)

    By Public Transportation (Jeepneys):

    If Coming from SM North EDSA:
    • Ride a UP Diliman Campus jeep at the SM North EDSA Terminal. Tell the driver to drop you at the UP Diliman Checkpoint.
    • From the UPD Checkpoint, there are two ways to reach the PhilGEOS 2013 venue (NIP):
      • Ride a TOKI jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIP (“Physics”).
      • Or, ride an IKOT jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIGS (National Institute of Geological Sciences). From NIGS, you need to walk towards NIP (along the way, you will pass by the Math Building).
      • For additional guidance, we recommend visiting the UPD IKSPACE site or Google Map.
    If Coming from Quezon Avenue MRT-3 Station:
    • Exit at the north-bound side of the train station. Go down the train station and ride a UP Diliman Campus jeep near Eton Centris. Tell the driver to drop you at the UP Diliman Checkpoint.
    • From the UPD Checkpoint, there are two ways to reach the PhilGEOS 2013 venue (NIP):
      • Ride a TOKI jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIP (“Physics”).
      • Or, ride an IKOT jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIGS (National Institute of Geological Sciences). From NIGS, you need to walk towards NIP (along the way, you will pass by the Math Building).

    If Coming from Commonweatlh – Philcoa Overpass (near McDonalds and Mercury Drug Store):
    • Ride any UP Diliman in-bound jeepneys. Tell the driver to drop you at the UP Diliman Checkpoint.
    • From the UPD Checkpoint, there are two ways to reach the PhilGEOS 2013 venue (NIP):
      • Ride a TOKI jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIP (“Physics”).
      • Or, ride an IKOT jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIGS (National Institute of Geological Sciences). From NIGS, you need to walk towards NIP (along the way, you will pass by the Math Building).

    If Coming from Commonwealth – Central Overpass (near UPD Gym and Iglesia ni Kristo):
    • From the overpass, enter at the Ylanan Gate.
    • Walk along Ylanan Street until you reach Magsaysay Avenue (nearby landmarks are the DMST Complex, UP Alumni Center, College of Music, and Center for Women’s Studies)
    • From Magsaysay Avenue, there are two ways to reach the PhilGEOS 2013 venue (NIP):
      • Ride a TOKI jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIP (“Physics”).
      • Or, ride an IKOT jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIGS (National Institute of Geological Sciences). From NIGS, you need to walk towards NIP (along the way, you will pass by the Math Building).

    If Coming from LRT-3/MRT-2 Katipunan Station:
    • From the train station, walk along Aurora Boulevard until you reach Katipunan Avenue. Below the flyover along Katipunan Avenue, there is a jeepney terminal.
    • Ride a UP Diliman Campus bound jeep. Tell the driver to drop you at Petron – Katipunan (just before the Sta. Maria della Strada Parish Church). There is an overpass.
    • Cross Katipunan Avenue to reach C.P. Garcia Avenue, then look for the NIP Building.

    If Already Within the UP Diliman Campus:
    • Ride a TOKI jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIP (“Physics”).
    • Or, ride an IKOT jeep and tell the driver to drop you at NIGS (National Institute of Geological Sciences). From NIGS, you need to walk towards NIP (along the way, you will pass by the Math Building).
